Specify whether the bolted lug body is copper or bronze and confirm the alloy, fasteners and finish. Conductivity and corrosion resistance depend on the grade and complete design.
Match the conductor material, cross-section, stranding and clamping arrangement, as well as the equipment stud size and palm-hole spacing. Use only conductor combinations approved for the selected lug.

Bolted lugs connect conductors mechanically to equipment or busbars. Permitted current and temperature rise depend on the complete joint; they cannot be derived from bolt size or bulk material conductivity alone.
